How Important Are Robes To God? Robes are very important to God,so important that he took time out and dedicated the entire 28th chapter of Exodus to ROBES, their style, color and every detail. God wants to keep them in our memory. God in the book of Exodus established the priesthood God's first preachers .... Exodus 28-1 And take Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him . ( The pastor and his assistant ( one who help.) Verse 2: And thus shalt MAKE HOLY GARMENTS for Aaron thy brother for glory and beauty. God not only want His ministers to have His anointing, but to look good also. Verse 3: And thou shalt speak unto them that are wise hearted, instruct those to whom I have given special skills as tailors to make the garments that will set him apart from others. That they may make Aaron's garment to consecrate him, that he may minister unto Me in the preacher's office. (Living Bible) Thus the preacher's garment, the ROBE. God mentions Holy Garments and Robes throughout the Bible. The bible states. 1 Corn. 9:14 even so, hath the Lord ordained that they which preach (minister) the gospel should live of the gospel. This is my ministery to "Make Holy Garments" for the men and women that minister to His people. |
